This was too cool to not mention. Apparently GE, in their quest to stir up awareness for alternative fuel sources has created a site dedicated to blowing you away with your computer’s webcam.

They call the process “Augmented Reality” and all you need is a .pdf reader, a printer, Flash 10 and a webcam and you can make a piece of paper come to life (in Wind farm or Solar panel mode).

Here’s a creepy picture of me with the “Augmented Reality” in my hands (hopefully, we all forget the fact that this picture has a mysterious all white background that looks mysteriously like NGAGE):
