Apparently, if you grew up watching black-and-white TV, watching movies in film noir, or taking in a majority of monochromatic media, you are likely to dream in black-and-white a quarter of the time. While us whipper-snappers who grew up in full-blown Technicolor will dream in color almost all of the time.
A study in the UK is pointing to the data; psychologists at the University of Dundee are milling over a century’s worth of “dream data” to explain how our sleeping-stories have changed through the advent of television.
I can’t wait until I’m dreaming in 1080p.
